Secura Pressure Cooker Review

Secura Pressure Cooker

Is all the stress that comes with cooking a huge family meal really worth it? You spend hours slaving over a hot stove, only to see everyone sitting on their phones not paying any attention to your wonderful cooking which has consumed the last few hours of your life. What if I were to tell you that there is a machine which could make this process an awful lot easier? Well there is and that machine is the Secura Pressure Cooker.

Does it have any special features?

This machine has so many features that you’ll struggle to remember them all! This 6 quart cooker aims to be able to replace your: pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker, food steamer, browning/sauté pan and soup maker so you can rest assured that you’ll be able to find at least one use for it! It also includes a large, clearly viable display so you can keep an eye on the cooking process, and its cool touch handles ensure that you won’t be able to burn yourself by accidently grabbing it whilst in use!

Will the cooker look at home in my kitchen?

Will this just be another kitchen gadget that gets used once and then never again? I very highly doubt it. With a stainless steel design it will sit proudly atop your kitchen work top, and with all of the features we have just discussed, I imagine you’ll be too busy using it to cook all of your meals to worry about putting it away. However, if you do, you’ll be pleased to hear that it is easy to clean both inside and out due to the stainless steel design.

What are the positive aspects?

This cooker will take the place of six of your old appliances which will save you space and time. It has a huge number of features and controls, so after a couple of reads through the instruction manual, you will be able to cook your meals to absolute perfection due to the precise control you can have over the process. It is dishwasher safe, energy efficient, and it will cook your food up to 70 x faster than normal ovens.

What the negatives?

Fuses burning out, warnings on the electronic display and overheating are all complaints that have come from previous owners of this machine. It is not a perfect machine, but if you read the instructions carefully then you should be able to get the best out of this pressure cooker.

So, what’s the conclusion?

The number of features, the time it can save you, and the efficiency of the machine all point to it being a good buy. However, multiple people have complained about various elements of this Secura pressure cooker, so you should compare the market before you commit to a purchase. Overall it is a good machine, but until they iron out these flaws and issues, it may be worth waiting.
